Removal the rear drive shafts (Honda CR-V 2)

1. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.

2. Raise the rear of the vehicle and securely support it on the safety stands at the designated points.

3. Loosen the wheel nuts and remove the rear wheels.



4. Bend back the locking tab (A) on the axle shaft nut (B), then unscrew the nut.

5. Remove the rear drive shafts from the rear differential assembly.

6. Remove the rear drive shaft outer joint from the trailing arm and rear wheel hub using a plastic hammer or puller.



7. Remove the rear drive shaft (A).

Note:

• Do not damage the ABS wheel sensor (B).
• Pull on the outer hinge. Do not pull on the drive shaft, otherwise the joint may break.
