1. Clean all parts in solvent, dry them and apply grease to the contact areas, except for the hubs of the 3rd/4th and 5th gear synchronizers.

2. Install the needle bearing and 3rd gear onto the secondary shaft.

3. Install the double cone synchronizer assembly (A) by aligning the synchronizer cone pins (B) with the holes in the 3rd gear (C), then install the synchronizer spring (D).
