1. Measure the gap between each shift fork (A) and the corresponding synchronizer race (B). If the gap exceeds the specified limit, proceed to step 1. 2.

  • If the thickness of the shift fork fingers is different from the standard, replace the shift fork with a new one.
  • If the thickness of the shift fork fingers is within the normal range, replace the synchronizer sleeve with a new one.

Standard: 7.4-7.6 mm

3. Measure the gap between the shift fork (A) and the shift rod (B). If the gap exceeds the specified limit, proceed to step. 4.

  • If the shift rod width is different from the standard, replace the shift rod with a new one.
  • If the shift link width is within the standard, replace the shift fork or shift part with a new one.

Standard: 16.9-17.0 mm
