Before dismantling the output shaft, the following measurements should be made. If any dimensions are out of tolerance, then the output shaft should be disassembled and the necessary thrust washers should be replaced.
If all dimensions meet the tolerances, then the output shaft should be disassembled only if it is mechanically damaged.
1. Measure the clearance between the thrust washer and the lip on the 1st gear. The tolerance is 0.03-0.08 mm.
2. Measure the gap between the edges on the 1st and 2nd gears. The tolerance is 0.03-0.18 mm. If the tolerance is not met, then measure the width of the 2nd gear. The width tolerance is 30.30-30.47mm.
3. If any size does not satisfy the tolerance, then before disassembling the assembly, calculate the thickness that must be selected to fall within the operating range.
