Before disassembling the secondary shaft, the following measurements should be taken. If any dimensions are outside the tolerance limits, the secondary shaft should be disassembled and the necessary thrust washers should be replaced.
If all dimensions comply with tolerances, then the secondary shaft should be disassembled only in the event of mechanical damage.
1. Measure the clearance between the thrust washer and the edge on the 1st gear. The tolerance is 0.03-0.08 mm.
2. Measure the gap between the edges of the 1st and 2nd gears. The tolerance is 0.03-0.18 mm. If the tolerance is not met, then measure the width of the 2nd gear. The width tolerance is 30.30-30.47 mm.
3. If any dimension does not meet the tolerance, then before disassembling the unit, you should calculate the thickness that must be selected to fall within the working range.
