Checking the gear shift lever clearance (Honda CR-V 2)

1. Measure the clearance between the gear shift lever (A) and the gear selector lever (B) using a feeler gauge (C). If the clearance exceeds the specified limit, proceed to step 1. 2.

Standard (new)	0.05-0.25 mm
Limit	0.50 mm

2. Measure the groove width in the gear shift lever.

• If the groove width is different from the standard, replace the gear shift lever with a new one.
• If the groove width is within the normal range, replace the gear selector lever with a new one.

Standard: 15.00-15.10mm
