Fuel pressure relief (Honda CR-V 2)

Before disconnecting fuel lines or hoses, relieve system pressure by loosening the fuel pulsation damper on top of the fuel rail.

1. Make sure you have the security code for your car radio.

Also write down the frequencies of the radio stations with fixed tuning.

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

3. Remove the filler cap and the engine cover.

4. Place a wrench on the fuel pulsation damper (A).

5. Wrap the fuel pulsation damper with a rag or tissue

6. Slowly loosen the fuel pulsation damper one full turn.

Note: If the fuel pulsation damper becomes loose or becomes unscrewed, replace all washers.
