1. Install the upper spring rubber seat (A) onto the upper spring seat (B), aligning the tab (C) on the seat with the notch (D) in the seat.

Shock absorber type A: 51601 /51602-S9A-G02

Shock absorber type B: 51601/51602-S9A-G12

The catalog number is indicated on the label of the shock absorber assembly. If the cutout is different, repeat the procedure from step. 1 and assemble the spring and upper spring seat accordingly.

8. While holding the bottom of the shock absorber with your hand, compress the shock absorber spring. Do not compress the spring excessively.

9. Place the 12mm nut (A) on the shock absorber rod (B). Secure the shock absorber rod with the Allen key (C) and tighten the 12mm nut to the specified torque.
