1. Lower the lower arm and secure the shock absorber assembly to the body. Turn the shock absorber base with the "L" mark (A) towards the outside of the vehicle.

3. Secure the shock absorber to the steering knuckle and insert the tie bolts (A) and nuts (B) into the shock absorber and lightly tighten the nuts,

4. Place a jack under the lower suspension arm ball joint and raise the suspension so that it supports the weight of the vehicle.

Warning. Do not place a jack under the ball joint pin on the lower control arm.


5. Tighten the flange nuts (B) on top of the shock absorber to the specified torque.

7. Install the brake hose bracket (A) and wheel sensor wiring harness bracket (B) to the shock absorber and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

8. Connect the tie rod end to the steering arm and tighten the nut (A) to the specified torque. After tightening, install the cotter pin (B) and bend its tip as shown in the figure.
