Rear shock absorber — removal (Honda Fit 1)

1. Remove the rear wheel.

2. Place the rear suspension beam on the jack and raise it until the suspension begins to compress.

3. Disconnect the lower part of the shock absorbers.

4. Remove the cover from the trunk trim.

5. Unscrew the nut, securing the shock absorber rod from turning, and remove the washer and the upper shock absorber support.

6. Remove the shock absorber.
