Note:
- Wear protective gloves.
- Do not damage, crush or twist the carpet.
- Avoid damaging the instrument panel or other interior trim.
1. Remove the following components:
- Front seats.
- Rear seats.
- Lower decorative panel of the middle pillar, on both sides.
- The middle lower cover of the instrument panel.
2. On right-hand drive vehicles: Remove the clips, then remove the footrest (A).
3. Remove the carpet (A).
- Remove the clamps (B).
- Remove the clips (C), then remove the luggage compartment floor mat (D).
- Release the fasteners (E), then remove the carpet from under the instrument panel.
- Remove both rear seat belts (F) through the slot in the carpet and release the fasteners (G) of both rear side trim panels.
4. Install the carpet in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- Do not damage, crush or twist the carpet.
- Make sure the seat harnesses are routed correctly.
- Replace damaged clamps.
- Thread both rear seat belts through the slot in the carpet as needed.
