2. On CR-V and 4-cylinder Odyssey models, unscrew the screws and remove the parking brake lever trim, disconnect the connector, disconnect the cable from the lever and remove the lever.
3. On 6-cylinder Odysseys, release the brake lever and disconnect the parking brake cable by unscrewing the adjusting nut on the pedals.
4. On CR-V and 6-cylinder Odyssey models, remove the rear brake drums.
5. On 4-cylinder Odysseys, remove the rear caliper, caliper bracket, pads and brake disc.
6. On the rear disc brake, remove the pads and disconnect the cable from the bracket.
7. Put a 12 mm asymmetric key on the cable, squeeze the bracket for fastening the cable sheath to the brake shield with the key and remove the cable, passing through the opening in the shield.
8. Remove cable guide brackets from underbody and remove cable.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Adjust the cable when finished.
Disconnect the cable sheath from the brake shield by depressing the spring clip with a ring wrench with an asymmetrical head: 1. Brake shield; 2. Rope; 3. Ring wrench with asymmetric head
