2. On CR-V and 4-cylinder Odyssey models, remove the screws and parking brake lever trim, disconnect the connector, disconnect the cable from the lever, and remove the lever.
3. On 6-cylinder Odysseys, release the brake lever and disconnect the parking brake cable by loosening the adjusting nut on the pedal.
4. On CR-V and 6-cylinder Odyssey models, remove the rear brake drums.
5. On 4-cylinder Odysseys, remove the rear caliper, caliper bracket, pads and brake rotor.
6. For the rear disc brake, remove the pads and disconnect the cable from the bracket.
7. Place a 12 mm asymmetrical wrench on the cable, use the wrench to squeeze the clamp securing the cable sheath to the brake shield and remove the cable, passing it through the opening in the shield.
8. Remove the cable guide brackets from the underbody and remove the cable.
9. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Adjust the cable when finished.
