Mirror assembly

1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Remove the inner door panel (see below).

3. Stick a strip of tape on the bottom of the mirror, then pry up the bottom of the cover, move it away and unscrew the bolt through the resulting opening.

4. Disconnect the connector, remove the wiring clamps, remove the plugs and unscrew the bolts.

5. While holding the mirror, remove the lug on the mirror bracket from the door trim panel and remove the mirror.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Optical element

1. Remove the plug at the bottom of the mirror and unscrew the screw.

2. Remove the mirror holder together with the drive, mark and disconnect the wires.

3. Gently pull the bottom edge of the mirror, trying to distribute the force evenly along the entire length of the mirror edge, until the optical element comes out of the drive latches.

4. If the hooks are stuck on the mirror holder, then move them to the drive base.

5. Align the latches and hook engagement points and, applying even pressure to the mirror, insert the holder into the drive base. Check the operation of the mirror drive.
