Rear Compartment Lid (6-cylinder Odyssey) (Honda CR-V 1)

1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Open the lid and place a support underneath it

3. Remove the side caps from the lid handle, unscrew the screws and remove the lid.

4. Remove the latches and brackets and remove the lower trim panel of the back cover.

5. Pry up and remove the top and side decorative window trims.

6. Unscrew the spoiler nuts, disconnect the washer pipe, remove the hatch and remove the bracket.

7. Close the cover, lift the spoiler, disconnect the connector by removing the cover and remove the spoiler.

8. Disconnect the connectors, remove the clamps, unscrew the clamp bolt and remove the wiring harness from the cover, attaching a wire to the end of the harness to retract the harness during assembly.

9. Lift the bandage around the lid post axis (the assistant must hold the lid) and remove the stand, do not remove the bandage.

10. Unscrew the bolts securing the hinges on the cover and remove the back cover.

11. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
