Mirror assembly
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Lower the door glass.
3. Carefully, without using tools, remove the upper part of the inner decorative trim of the mirror from the latches, lift and remove the trim.
4. On vehicles with power mirrors, remove the inner door panel and disconnect the wiring connector.
5. Holding the mirror, unscrew the bolts and remove the mirror from the spring clips.
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Optical element
1. Gently pull on the bottom edge of the mirror holder, trying to distribute the force evenly along the entire length of the mirror holder, until the optical element comes out of the drive latches. If necessary, disconnect the heater wires.
2. Align the latches and hook engagement points and, applying even pressure to the mirror, insert the holder into the drive base. Check the operation of the mirror drive.
