Note: Before installing the right cover and oil pump housing, apply sealant to their contact surfaces. Use sealant P/N 08C70 - K0234M, 08C70 - K0334M or 08C70 - X0331S. Lubricate all internal parts with engine oil when assembling.

16. RIGHT COVER. Apply sealant to the contact surface.

18. THRUST WASHERS. Grooved sides face outward. Thrust washer thickness is constant and should not be changed by grinding or shims.
19. FIXING BOLTS FOR THE COVER OF THE VENTILATION CHANNEL, 6x1.0 mm, 11 Nm (1.1 kgf/m). Apply sealant to the threads of the bolts.
20. REFERENCE PIN
21. O-ring. Replace.
22. 6x1.0 mm, 11 Nm (1.1 kgf/m)
23. CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL. Replace.
24. OIL PUMP. Apply sealant to the contact surface.

Note: New main bearings must be matched to the identification marks on the crankshaft and cylinder block.

Note: After tightening each cap, turn the crankshaft to make sure it does not bind.
