Pistons
On Odyssey engines the pin is pressed into the piston. When removing/installing, the piston should be heated. On some Odyssey and all CR-V engines, pistons are pressed from the pin and pressed in using a hydraulic press with special equipment. Piston replacement is only performed at a car service center.
When installing the piston with the connecting rod on the engine, mark (in the form of a recess on the piston bottom or the letter F) must face the front of the engine.
