Attention. Before carrying out work, support the front wheels with stops and tighten the parking brake.
1. Loosen rear wheel nuts.
2. Jack up the rear of the vehicle and install stands.
3. Remove rear wheels.
4. Loosen and unscrew the hub nut.
5. Disconnect the rear differential from the frame and disconnect the drive shafts (see section «Rear differential»).
6. Hitting the end of the drive shaft with a plastic mallet, remove the shaft from the rear wheel hub.
Grab the outer hinge and pull straight out to the side to avoid damaging the ABS sensor.
Pulling on the drive shaft may cause the rollers to fall out. If the rollers fall out, remove the cover and reinstall them.
