Removal the oil pump (Honda CR-V 2)

1. Set the piston of cylinder No. 1 to TDC.

2. Remove the oil pan.

3. Remove the oil pump drive chain tensioner.



4. Secure the rear balance shaft by inserting a punch into the hole in the rear balance shaft through the access hole in the lower balance shaft bracket.



5. Loosen the oil pump sprocket mounting bolt.

6. Remove the oil pump sprocket (A), then the oil pump (B).
