Dust collecting filter (Honda CR-V 2)

The air conditioner filter is designed to clean the air, trap road dust, pollen, tobacco smoke odor, etc. For reliable operation of the filter, perform timely maintenance. The filter is replaced once a year or every 15,000 km (depending on conditions, possibly more often).

If the air flow from the air conditioner weakens, and fogging is removed from the glass slowly, most likely the filter needs to be replaced.

The filter replacement interval is indicated on the inside of the glove compartment.

Replacing the dust filter

1. Open the glove box completely, then close it slightly.

2. Press on the stoppers located inside the drawer compartment on both sides. Remove the drawer with a downward movement.

3. Press the latch and remove the filter cover.

4. Remove the filter elements. To remove the first element, you need to pull it towards you. To remove the second element, you must first move it to the right, then pull it towards you.

5. Remove the filter elements from the housings and replace them with new ones. When installing filters, make sure that the arrows next to the AIR FLOW inscription on the housing and filter element are pointing downwards.
