2. Disconnect the connector from the parking brake switch (A).

3. Check if there is continuity between the switch contact (B) and ground:
- When the lever (top) (C) is tightened, there should be conductivity.

- When the lever (bottom) (D) is released, there should be no conductivity.
Note:
- If both the ABS indicator and the brake system indicator come on at the same time, check the ABS system.
- If the parking brake switch/brake fluid level switch is OK but the brake system indicator does not work, check the ABS system.
