CR-V Models



1. Remove the glove box and the lower section of the instrument panel under the steering wheel (see Ch. 10).

2. Remove the lower part of the center section of the instrument panel.

3. Remove the cup holder and the disc change container. To do this, pull out the disc change container and unscrew the mounting screws. Using a thin, flat knife, press the hook on the top right side of the container, pushing the container towards you.

4. Remove the middle cover of the center section. To do this, unscrew the 2 bottom screws and 2 screws on the right side of the cover. Carefully lift up the left side of the center section and release the latches.

5. Remove the receiver assembly from the heater control panel by doing the following:
  • Unscrew the bolts securing the panel to the brackets on the left and right.
  • - Carefully remove the receiver with the heater control panel from the central section of the instrument panel, disconnecting the 6 latches.
  • Disconnect 2 connectors from the heater panel, disconnect the antenna cable and wire from the receiver.

6. To remove the receiver, unscrew the 2 bolts on the left and right sides.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order. When finished, enter the receiver decoding code.

Odyssey 4-cylinder models



1. Remove the center section (see Ch. 10).

2. Remove the cup holder.

3. At the bottom of the receiver, unscrew the 2 bolts, feed the receiver, disconnect the antenna cable and wire, and remove the receiver.



4. Installation is carried out in reverse order. When finished, enter the receiver decoding code.

Odyssey 6-cylinder models



1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Remove the panel (see Ch. 10).

3. Loosen the bolts securing the audio center bracket to the center section, disconnect the antenna cable and wire, and remove the audio center.

4. Remove the mounting parts from the brackets and take the audio center out of the case.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order. When finished, enter the audio center decoding code.
