Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Drain the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
3. Loosen the pump bolts and remove the belt.
4. Squeeze the hose clamp onto the pump fitting, slide the clamp up the hose and disconnect the hose from the pump.
5. Loosen the pressure hose mounting bolts and disconnect the hose from the pump together with the sealing ring. Plug the pump holes and hoses.
6. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the pump.
Attention! After removing the power steering pump, it is prohibited to turn the steering wheel
Installation
7. Install the pump in place and tighten the mounting bolts.
8. Install a new O-ring onto the pressure hose flange, lubricate the O-ring with Honda power steering fluid and install the flange.
9. Further installation is carried out in reverse order. Adjust the belt tension (Ch. 1), remove air from the system.
