2. Drain the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
3. Remove the belt by loosening the pump mounting bolt and retaining bolt.
4. Cover the A/C compressor with a few towels to prevent spilled liquid from getting on it. Disconnect the supply hose and supply tube from the pump and plug them. Do not spill liquid on the body or adjacent parts. Wipe up spilled liquid immediately.

5. Remove the pump mounting bolts and stop bolt, then remove the pump. After removing the pump, do not turn the steering wheel.
6. To prevent foreign particles from entering the pump, seal the hole in the pump with a piece of adhesive tape.
7. Connect the supply hose and supply tube to the pump. Tighten pump fittings securely.
8. Install the pump on the bracket by screwing on the mounting bolt and stop bolt.
9. Put on the pump drive belt.
When putting on the belt, keep the following in mind:
- Make sure the power steering pump drive belt is correctly positioned on the pulleys.
- Do not allow liquid or grease to come into contact with the belt or pulley surfaces. Remove any liquid or grease before donning.

11. Fill the tank to the top level mark (see above).
