Rear shock absorbers hydraulic or pneumatic. To check the shock absorber, shake the corner of an unloaded vehicle. If the shock absorber is serviceable, then the body quickly returns to its original position, having made 1 oscillation. If the car body returns to its original position after 2-3 vibrations, then the shock absorber is faulty. Shock absorbers are recommended to be replaced in pairs per axle.
