Caution: On 4-cylinder Odysseys, after removing and installing any rear suspension component, check and adjust the metering valve spring length (see Ch. 9).
Rear suspension (4-cylinder Odyssey):
1. Nut. Hold the nut from turning and release the bolt
2. Upper spring cup. Check for damage
3. Spring. Check for elasticity and damage
4. Lower spring cup
5, 6, 16, 21, 25, 30. Bolt
7. Ball joint puller 07MAC-SL00200
8. Castle nut
9. Cotter pin (replace)
10. Bushing of the fist
11. Fist. Check for damage
12. Lower arm A. Check for deformation and damage. Check the bushing for damage
15. Longitudinal arm. Check for deformation and damage. Check the bushing for damage
18. Washer
19. Trailing arm bracket Check for damage
22. Stabilizer link. Check for deformation and damage. Check for damage to the bushings
24. Lower arm B. Check for deformation and damage. Check for damage to the bushings
27. Stabilizer arm
28. Stepladder
29. Anti-roll bar. Check for deformations. Check the bushing for damage
13, 17, 20, 23, 26. Self-locking nut (replace)
14. Upper arm. Check for deformation and damage
