Note:
- Apply transmission fluid to all parts during assembly.
- Replace the tapered roller bearing and bearing outer race as a set.
1. Press the tapered roller bearing outer race (A) out of the transfer case housing (B) by heating the cover to almost 100°C using a fan heater (C). Do not heat the cover above 100°C.

2. Press in the 52mm tapered roller bearing outer race using the special tool.
3. Press in the 62mm and 50mm tapered roller bearing outer rings using the special tool.
