  • Wear protective gloves.

  • Do not damage the wires and contacts of the rear window heater.


1. Remove the rear door side trim on both sides.

2. Remove the high brake light.

3. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the rear window defogger and remove the wiring harnesses (B) and harness holders (C) from both rear window support pillar brackets (D). Remove the wiring harness from the trim channel (E) on the right side.

8. Installation of the glass and support pillar is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:


  • Replace the mounting bolt of the removed support stand with a new one.
  • Make sure the rear window defroster connectors are securely inserted.
  • Adjust the position of the glass.
  • Make sure the rear door glass opens properly and locks securely.
