Front door glass
1. Remove the door trim panel and splash screen (see Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of doors).
2. Fully lower the window.
3. Raise the glass so that access to its fasteners is opened through the holes specially provided in the door frame.
4. Cover with rags the top edge of glass, then give two fixing bolts.
5. Remove the glass from the door assembly through the window opening.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Main and fixed glass rear doors
1. Remove the door trim panel and splash screen (see Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of doors).
2. Lower the glass just enough to expose the bolts on the rail. Loosen the bolts and, while holding the glass, push the guide back. After releasing the glass from the guide, carefully lower it to the lower position.
3. Release the inner sealing strip from the door frame and rear chute, providing enough slack to remove the chute. Release the outer sealing strip from the door, making it possible to unscrew the top screw of the gutter.
4. Pull the glass guide chute forward, separating its fixed glass, then remove the chute from the door through the top and leave it hanging on the sealing strip (to avoid damaging the paintwork of the door panel, cover it with an old towel).
5. Now the main glass can be removed from the door frame through the window opening.
6. Next, if necessary, you can remove the fixed glass of the door - proceed carefully, as the glass may be set quite tightly.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. If the sealing strip cannot be seated tight enough, use a special cementing compound. Until the cement hardens, the strip can be fixed with adhesive tape.
Note. Before tightening the screws securing the main glass, seat it firmly in the front guide chute.
