Note:
- Wear protective gloves.
- Be careful not to scratch the back door.
1. Remove the rear door side trim on both sides.
2. Remove the high brake light.
3. Disconnect the connectors from the rear window defogger and remove the wiring harnesses from both sides.
4. Remove the rear door glass support pillar brackets from both sides of the rear door.
5. Have a partner hold the rear door glass and remove the rear door glass seal (A) by pulling it.

6. Clean the contact surface around the perimeter of the rear door glass opening with alcohol.
7. Apply sealant into the groove around the perimeter of the rear door glass seal (B) (Cemedine 08712-0004 or equivalent) (A).

8. Locate the paint alignment mark (C) on the rear door glass seal. Align the paint mark with the alignment tab in the center of the rear door glass opening and install the weatherstrip. Make sure it is fully seated and facing the direction shown. Make sure there are no folds in the seal.
9. Check for water leakage.
