Note:
- Be careful not to scratch the back door.
- Wear protective gloves.
1. Remove the lower trim panel of the rear door.
2. Disconnect the lower end of the rear door rod (A) from the rear door lock.
3. Remove the bolt, then remove the rear door limiter assembly (A).
4. If necessary, disconnect the rear door link (B) from the rear door stop assembly.
5. Installation of the rear door limiter assembly is performed in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- Make sure the tailgate link is connected securely. If you removed the tailgate link from the tailgate stop assembly, adjust the link when reinstalling it.
- Make sure the rear door opens properly.
