a) Remove the radiator cap, moisten its gasket with coolant and install it on the tester.
b) Apply pressure of 93-123 kPa.
c) Make sure the pressure holds. If the pressure drops, replace the radiator cap.
2. Check the radiator.
a) Wait until the engine cools down, carefully remove the radiator cap and fill the radiator with coolant up to the filler neck.
b) Connect the tester to the radiator and apply a pressure of 93-123 kPa.
c) Check the engine for coolant leaks and pressure drops.
d) Remove the tester and install the radiator cap.
