Brake booster — removal and installation (Honda Accord 3)

1. Disconnect the vacuum hose at the booster.

2. Remove the master cylinder. Immediately plug the brake system pipes. Place the master cylinder in a clean, protected place outside the work area.

3. Remove the brake pedal-to-booster connecting pin and the 4 nuts securing the booster. The pushrod and nuts are located inside the vehicle under the instrument panel.

4. Remove the amplifier assembly from the vehicle.

5. When installing, perform the procedure in reverse order. Tighten the 4 mounting bolts to 13 Nm.

6. Bleed the brake system.
