Note:
- Cover the fenders with a protective cloth to prevent damage to the paintwork.
- To avoid damaging the electrical wiring, disconnect it carefully by grasping the connector.
- To prevent damage to the cylinder head, wait until the engine coolant temperature has dropped to 38 before loosening the mounting bolts"WITH.
- Label all wiring and hoses to avoid misconnection. Also make sure that they do not come into contact with other electrical wiring and hoses and do not interfere with other components.
1. Lock the hood in the open position.
2. First disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, then from the positive one.
3. Drain the engine coolant.
4. Remove air intake B.
5. Remove the breather hose, then disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector (IAT).
6. Remove the air filter cover and air intake pipe.
7. Remove the mounting bolt and locking bolt, then remove the power steering pump drive belt (R/S) steering and the pump itself, without disconnecting the hoses from the hydraulic booster.
8. Remove the power steering pump bracket (R/S).
9. Loosen the central nut and adjusting bolt of the idler pulley, remove the A/C compressor drive belt (A/C).
10. Loosen the fixing nut and lock bolt, remove the alternator drive belt.
11. Remove an arm And support of the engine and the top arm of the generator.
12. Remove the throttle cable by loosening the locknut, then remove the cable tip from the accelerator drive.
Note:
- Do not bend the cable while removing it. Replace the bent cable with a new one.
- When installing the throttle cable, adjust it.
13. Relieve fuel pressure.
14. Disconnect the fuel supply hose, fuel outlet hose and carbon filter hose (EVAP).
15. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose, positive crankcase ventilation valve hose (PCV) and vacuum hose.
16. Disconnect the upper radiator hose, heater hose and bypass water hoses.
17. Disconnect the engine wiring harness connectors and remove the cable ties from the cylinder head and intake manifold.
- Four fuel injector connectors
- The connector of the valve-regulator of the air supply at the speed x.x. (IAC)
- Throttle position sensor connector
- Manifold absolute pressure sensor connector (IDA)
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Connector (EATING)
- Radiator fan switch connector
- Coolant temperature gauge sensor connector
- Heated oxygen sensor connector (HO2S)
18. Remove the spark plug caps and distributor from the cylinder head.
19. Support the engine with a jack by placing a block of wood under the oil pan.
20. Remove the side support of the engine.
21. Remove the air cleaner housing bracket, then remove the cylinder head cover.
22. Remove the timing belt (see above).
23. Remove the camshaft pulley and rear cover.
24. Remove the exhaust manifold.
25. Remove the intake manifold.
26. Turn off bolts of a head of cylinders. To prevent the head from warping, unscrew the bolts sequentially 1/3 turn at a time; repeat the operation until all bolts are loosened.
27. Remove the cylinder head.
