Replacing the working fluid filter (Honda Fit 1)

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

Note: Before disconnecting the wire from the battery, make sure you know the access code for the radio. Otherwise, the radio will be blocked.


2. Remove the air filter housing (see chapter "Maintenance and general check and adjustment procedures").

3. Remove the battery, battery tray and battery bracket.

4. Loosen the bolt and remove the bracket (A) securing the working fluid filter.

5. Disconnect the hoses (C) from the automatic transmission fluid filter (B) and remove the filter.

Note:
  • Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
  • Install the clamps (D) so that the distance (E) is 6-8 mm.
