A) Apply the parking brake and chock the wheels.
b) Check the following options:
- engine coolant level;
- engine oil level;
- automatic transmission fluid level;
- ignition timing;
- idle speed.
2. Connect the diagnostic tool to the diagnostic connector DLC (A).
3. Make sure the air conditioner is turned off.
4. Start the engine and jack it up while it warms up (the engine cooling fan should turn on).
5. Move the selector to position "2" (models without manual shift mode) or "S" (second gear engaged) (manual shift models).

Rotational speed with a fully braked vehicle:
- nominal value - 2500 rpm
- permissible range of values - 2450 -2750 rpm
If the rotational speed with a fully braked vehicle does not comply with the established standards, determine the malfunction according to the table "Troubleshooting based on test results on a fully braked vehicle".
