Fuel pressure regulator (Honda Accord 3)

Removal

1. Place a rag under the regulator. Be prepared to catch any leaking fuel.



2. Relieve fuel system pressure.

3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the regulator.

4. Disconnect the fuel line from the regulator; plug the line to prevent leaks or dirt from entering.

5. Remove the 2 mounting bolts and remove the regulator.

6. Remove the O-ring from the regulator.

To install:

7. Install a new O-ring on the regulator; lightly coat the ring with a thin layer of clean, fresh oil.

8. Install the regulator, making sure that the O-ring is not damaged. Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm.

9. Connect the fuel line.

10. Install the vacuum hose.
