2. Remove the tie rod end from the rack end.
3. Remove the ball joint boot of the tip.
4. Remove old grease from the ball joint and pack in new grease.
5. Fill the cover with grease. Apply grease to the edges as well.
Attention:
- Do not apply grease to the pressed areas of the boot and hinge.
- Make sure that no dirt gets into the hinge or cover.
6. Using a special tool, press the cover onto the hinge.
Press the seal in evenly, without distortion.
Caution: After installing the boot, completely remove the grease from the conical and threaded areas of the pin.
