Note:
- To avoid damaging the door, wrap the blade of the putty knife or flat-head screwdriver with protective tape.
- When pressing the components, do not insert the tool too deeply, otherwise you may bend the molding.
- Wear protective gloves.
1. Prepare to remove the molding clips from inside the vehicle:
- To remove the molding from the front door, remove the front door panel and plastic cover.
- To remove the rear side door molding, remove the rear side door panel and plastic cover.
2. Release the clamps and carefully push the molding away from the front (A) or rear side (B) door, removing the adhesive tape (C, D).
Adhesive tape C: 3M5311 or equivalent (thickness 1.2 mm, width 5 mm).
Adhesive tape D: 3M5311 or equivalent (thickness 1.2 mm, width 8 mm)
3. Installation of moldings is performed in the reverse order of removal. Replace damaged clips and tape.
