1. Remove the following components:
  • Inner roof lining.
  • Glass of the sunroof.

2. Disconnect the sunroof connector (A) and drain pipes (B). The illustration above shows a left-hand drive model; the arrangement on the right-hand drive model is symmetrical.

3. Have a partner hold the frame (C), remove the bolts (D) and ground bolt (E) starting from the rear and release the rear hooks (F) by sliding the frame forward, then remove the frame.

4. With the help of a partner, carefully remove the frame through the front door opening. Avoid scratching the interior trim and bodywork and do not tear the seat covers.

5. To remove the front drain valve (A) from the body, remove the wheel arch panel, left or right. Tie a string to the end of the drain tube, then remove the front drain tube (B) from the front pillar.

Using a puller, separate the clips (B), then remove the rear drain pipe (C).

7. Installation of the frame and drain pipe is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
  • Before installing the frame, clean the drain tubes and drain valves with compressed air.
  • Check the frame seal.
  • Clean the frame surface.
  • When installing the frame, first hook the rear hooks into the holes in the body.
  • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
  • When connecting the drain pipe, push it onto the frame pipe by at least 10 mm.

8. Check for water leaks. Water with a hose without a nozzle. Do not apply water under high pressure.
