1. Lower the window completely.

2. Remove the inner handle housing (A). Be careful not to scratch the door panel.
  • Using a flat-blade screwdriver wrapped in protective tape, pry up the cover (B) from the top and release the hooks (C, D), then remove the cover.
  • Remove the screws.
  • Pull the inner handle housing (A) forward and towards you and release the hook (E).
  • Disconnect the inner handle rod (F).

3. Remove the small side window interior trim (A). Be careful not to scratch the door.
  • Insert a flat-head screwdriver wrapped in protective tape next to the pin and pry the pin off by prying up the trim and holding the hooked areas. Do not break the hooks (B).
  • Pull the trim and release the hooks.

  • Insert a flat-blade screwdriver wrapped in protective tape through the hole under the armrest, press on the panel from the back and release the rear hook (B).
  • Pull the edges of the panel and release the hooks (C) and the clamp.
  • Disconnect the connector (D) from the power window switch.

7. Remove the door panel (A), bending it as little as possible to avoid warping or breaking it.


  • Release the clips that secure the door panel using the trim panel puller (B) (available for sale).
