If the battery is too discharged, the engine can be started from the battery of another car. In this case, the following precautions should be observed.

1. Both vehicles must be set to the parking brake and the transmission levers must be in neutral.

2. Touching the car bodies is not allowed.

3. When connecting batteries, observe the correct polarity.

5. Lastly, the wire is connected to the engine being started at a location remote from the battery
6. Charged battery of another car.
5. Start the engine after a short pre-charge of the discharged battery from the engine of a flat car.
6. If the engine does not start after 2 attempts, this indicates that additional battery charging is necessary, or that there is an additional malfunction that may be causing the failure to start.
7. When disconnecting the auxiliary battery, turn on as many consumers as possible on both vehicles to smooth out current and voltage surges (this is necessary to prevent failure of electronic control units).
