Do not operate the fuel pump when the fuel lines are empty.

Do not operate the fuel pump when it is removed from the fuel tank.

Do not use used clamps on fuel supply hoses.

The washer(s) below any fuel system bolt (auxiliary bolt, fuel filter, etc.) should be replaced whenever the bolt becomes loose. Do not reuse washers; otherwise, fuel leakage may occur under high pressure.

Make sure all ECU harness connectors are securely fastened. A loose connection can cause high voltage discharge and eventually damage the integrated circuits.

Keep all ECU parts and harnesses dry during service operations.

Before attempting to remove any part, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and disconnect the battery ground cable.

Always use a 12 volt battery as a power source, never use an amplifier or charger as a power source.

Do not disconnect the battery cables while the engine is running.

Do not disconnect any electrical connector while the engine is running or when the ignition switch is in the ON position unless specifically instructed to do so in the instructions.

Do not press the accelerator pedal when starting.

Do not rev the engine high immediately after starting it or immediately before turning it off.

Do not apply battery power directly to the injectors.

Whenever possible, use a flashlight instead of a portable one.

Keep open flames and smoking materials away from the engine.

Use a rag to absorb spilled fuel when opening the fuel system.

Reduce fuel system pressure before servicing.

Always wear safety glasses or a face shield when working near fuel lines, joints or components.
