1. Engine coolant temperature must be below 30°C.
2. Disconnect two hoses from the ejector.
3. To install the throttle, press the accelerator pedal to the floor and release it slowly.
4. Start the engine; it should run at fast idle. If the engine is not in fast idle, stop the engine and remove the throttle cover. Check the performance of the fast idle cam.
5. Connect a vacuum pump to the internal outlet of the ejector and obtain a vacuum. The speed of fast x.x. should go down. If it does not go down, check the ejector for leaks, damage or defective diaphragm. Replace ejector if necessary.
6. Connect hoses.
7. Warm up the engine. As soon as the engine warms up to the required temperature, the speed of the fast x.x. should drop below 1400 rpm as the kicker pulls the choke lever away from the fast idle cam.
8. If the fast idle speed does not decrease, check the vacuum in the lines and the play of the mechanical lever. Check the vacuum in thermal valves A and B.
