1. Turn the ignition off. Remove the screws securing the under-dash fuse box to the bracket. Remove the fuel cut-off relay from the rear of the fuse box and rotate the box so that the relay mount can be seen.
2. Connect the two leftmost contacts on the relay mount with a jumper - contact 1 with contact 2.

3. Disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter in the engine compartment and connect a pressure gauge.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position; when the pressure on the pressure gauge stabilizes, return the key to the "OFF" position.
5. The pressure should be 18-23 kPa. If the pressure is below the minimum, the pump must be replaced.
6. Disconnect the pressure gauge and route the line into a drain container. Have an assistant turn the ignition key to the "ON" position for 60 seconds, then turn the ignition off.
7. At least 760 ml of fuel should flow in 60 seconds.
8. If the volume is less than specified, replace the pump.
9. Remove the jumper in the fuse box. Install the fuel cut-off relay and attach the fuse box in place.
