The power steering circuit is filled exclusively with Honda Power Steering fluid. According to the manufacturer's instructions, other fluids used in the power steering system are incompatible with this fluid. The use of other types of fluids leads to damage to the seals and accelerated wear of the hydraulic steering drive parts; in cold weather, driving the car becomes very difficult. The fluid level is checked on a cold, non-running engine; the car must be parked on a level surface. The fluid level should be between the marks on the tank. You should only add fluid when the level drops below the lower mark. To add fluid, remove the tank cap and add fluid to the upper mark.
