Testing the Reverse Light Switch (Honda CR-V 2)

1. Disconnect the connector from the reverse light switch (A).



2. Check if there is continuity between contacts No. 1 and No. 2 of the 2-pin connector of the reversing light switch. Conductivity should be present when the lever is shifted to the reverse position.

3. Replace the reverse light switch if necessary. Apply sealant (08X70-K0234M) and install it on the gearbox housing.
