2. Mark the propeller shaft (A) and the rear differential coupling flange assembly (B) so that they can be installed in their original positions (C).

3. Separate the driveshaft from the rear differential assembly.
4. Remove the EVAP carbon canister assembly with the bracket.
5. Remove the rear differential shock absorber (A).
6. Place a jack under the rear differential assembly, then remove the right and left mounting brackets (B).

7. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the washers.

8. Disconnect the breather tube (A) from the fitting.

9. Lower the rear differential assembly by removing the inner joints of both drive shafts from the rear differential assembly.
Note: Be careful not to damage the ring (B) on the end of the drive shaft when removing the inner joints.
10. Remove the support (A) from the rear differential assembly (B).
