1. Connect a tachometer or Honda PGM tester.
2. Unscrew the oil pressure sensor and install an oil pressure gauge in its place.
3. Start the engine. If the pressure gauge does not show any oil pressure, stop the engine immediately. Please troubleshoot the problem before proceeding further.
4. Allow the engine to warm up to normal operating temperature (the fan will start working at least twice).

5. If the oil pressure is different from the nominal, check the following components:
- Check if the oil pump screen is clogged.
- Check the oil pump.
