Testing the oil pressure sensor (Honda CR-V 2)

1. Disconnect the yellow wire with the red stripe (A) from the engine oil pressure sensor (B).



2. Check for continuity between the positive terminal (C) and the engine (ground). There should be continuity when the engine is not running. There should be no conductivity when the engine is running.

3. If the sensor does not work, check the engine oil level. If the level is normal, check the oil pressure. If the oil pressure level is normal, replace the oil pressure sensor.
