Headlights with gas discharge (xenon) lamps
To check and replace the bulbs in the headlights, contact a service station.
Headlights with halogen lamps
Care must be taken when removing and installing lamps.
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the rubber cover.
3. Remove the retaining spring and take out the lamp.
Fog lights (if any)
The headlights use halogen bulbs, so care must be taken when removing and installing them.
1. Unscrew 2 screws and push the cover up.
2. Turn the cartridge to the left and remove it.
3. Press the latch to disconnect the connector.
Headlights (models since 2005)
Low beam headlights
To check and replace the bulbs in the low beam headlights, contact a service station.
High beam headlights
The headlights use halogen bulbs, so care must be taken when removing and installing them.
1. (For right side only) Slide the power steering fluid reservoir off the bracket and remove it.
2. Remove the connector.
3. Remove the rubber cover.
4. Remove the retaining spring and take out the lamp.
5. Remove the lamp from the socket.
The position of the locking spring can be checked through the viewing window inside the headlight.
Fog lights
The headlights use halogen bulbs, so care must be taken when removing and installing them.
1. Remove the two clips and press the bottom cover upwards.
2. Turn the cartridge to the left and remove it.
3. Press the latch to disconnect the connector.
Secure the bottom cover and snap the clips into place.
